REV. JOSEPH PURCELL has served in the ministry since 1986 and has lived and ministered overseas in different capacities since 1992.

He and his wife, Mary, currently reside in the nation of Singapore, where they serve as the Directors of RHEMA Bible Training Center Singapore, teaching faith in God's Word and the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

Recently they established the first-ever RHEMA campus in Khabarovsk, Russia, and are currently planning to establish additional RHEMA campuses in the nation of India.

In addition to serving as the Director and as an instructor at RHEMA Singapore, Rev. Purcell preaches the gospel in other Asian nations and in the United States in the power and demonstration of the Holy Spirit. He has a powerful teaching ministry coupled with a delightful and spontaneous sense of humor, and is often used by God to minister to people by the gifts of the Spirit.

A former lawyer, Joe graduated from RHEMA USA in 1988. Before moving to Singapore in 2004, he and his wife were resident missionaries in Russia, where their ministry established the first full-gospel churches in history in the eastern part of the Chukotka region of Arctic Russia.

They also ministered in the Russian Far East where they helped to start a Bible school, trained church leaders, and pastored a local church.
